AI ethical framework
K-Pro is designed to help biopharma teams make decisions with confidence. The same qualities that make an answer useful for a research decision (being grounded, transparent, and open to challenge) are the ones that make it responsible. This page sets out the principles that guide how K-Pro is built.
Principles
Grounded in data
Answers should be rooted in real patient data and scientific evidence, not in the model's memory.
Analyses are computed by tools running on curated datasets; literature answers cite the publications they draw on.
Transparent
Users should be able to see how an answer was produced.
The Thought process section shows the tools called; K-Pro states the cohort, filters, and statistical tests it applied.
Traceable and reproducible
Reasoning should be followable end-to-end, and a workflow should be repeatable.
Orchestration is traced; skills are versioned so the same workflow can be rerun.
Contestable
Users should be able to question, challenge, and override outputs.
Every result can be interrogated in follow-up prompts, checked against its sources, and rejected; K-Pro never takes decisions on your behalf.
Human in charge
The scientist stays in charge of the science.
K-Pro informs decisions; qualified people make them. More autonomous workflows keep the scientist in control of the plan and key steps.
Privacy and security by design
Data should be protected by default.
Access to data and tools is controlled per organization; content exchanged with external tools is screened; see Privacy architecture and Security architecture.
Intended use
K-Pro is a research and decision-support tool for biopharma R&D: target identification, indication prioritization, biomarker research, competitive and clinical landscaping, and literature synthesis.
K-Pro is not intended to diagnose, treat, or make decisions about individual patients, and it does not replace clinical judgment or regulatory validation. See the Terms and conditions for details.
